1. When you get in a taxi or shuttle from the airport,
how long has this driver been working today? You would
be astonished to find that by 7pm some cab drivers have
been awake and driving for 14 hrs already and are
planning on driving until past midnight.
Sorry, your safety is less important than their greed. REALLY?
THERE IS NO REGULATION OF THIS IN JACKSONVILLE.
2. Did your driver pay his taxes last year? This is a cash
business and I know for a fact that most of the drivers
I have worked with in the past at other companies DON'T
PAY TAXES. So why would you give them your or your
companies money. This is one thing I do not tolerate with
my drivers.
3. Why will the other companies not display their rates on
their websites? Why can they not give you a firm rate? And
Why am I forced to give my driver a 20% gratuity before I
am in the car? What if the driver is terrible? Speeds? Weaves
in and out of traffic? This is a bad business practice...
